As a result of molecular genetic analysis to establish the species of fish and seafood in an accredited testing laboratory, it was found, what is in the composition of the product instead of minced meat from Atlantic cod declared in the labeling (Gedus morhua) haddock discovered (Melanogrammus aeglefinus), which confuses consumers (acquirers) regarding the type of food, to which the manufacturer has deliberately given certain product properties. Based on the results of the inspection, the inspectorate issued a ban on the sale of these products to the inspected subject.
