The Grodno Regional Inspectorate of Gosstandart carries out inspections on an ongoing basis (supervisory) activities regarding perfumes and cosmetics products.
So, During an inspection in one of the retail facilities in Lida, dangerous toilet water for women “Prestige” No. 6 GLOW, volume 17 Jr, RF, does not meet the requirements of TR CU 009/2011 "On the safety of perfumery and cosmetic products" on safety in terms of requirements, applied to the composition of perfumery and cosmetic products: In the production of eau de toilette, the ingredient hydroxysohexyl 3-cyclohexene carboxyaldehyde was used (hydroxyisohexyl 3-cyclohexene carboxaldehyde), prohibited for use in the manufacture of perfumery and cosmetic products.
Hydroxysohexyl 3-cyclohexene carboxyaldehyde – synthetic flavoring, which may cause irritation if in prolonged contact with skin, allergies, and can also negatively affect human reproductive function.
Based on the results of the inspection, the sale of the above products is prohibited.
Product Details, not meeting safety requirements, the import and circulation of which on the territory of the Republic of Belarus is prohibited, included in the Register of Dangerous Products, available via link https://danger.gskp.by/ and on the official telegram channel @GosstandartBelarus.
