About the results of the workshop monitoring
It's hard to imagine life without a car nowadays.. But any vehicle requires timely maintenance and repair.
When citizens go to a car service, they primarily want quality car repair assistance. But, Unfortunately, quite often they have to deal with the performance of poor-quality or untimely repair of vehicles.
Control of the quality of service of vehicles at service stations provides for checking the compliance of the technical condition of vehicles with safety and life protection requirements, human health and the environment, established in the technical documentation within the scope of work performed. For the correct execution of works, service stations must be provided with the necessary tools, equipment and measuring instruments, which must meet the requirements for a specific type of work for the diagnosis and repair of a vehicle.
This year, the Grodno Regional Inspectorate of Gosstandart carried out more 30 monitoring stations of maintenance and repair of vehicles, the results of which in 93 % cases, violations of the requirements of the legislation of the Republic of Belarus on ensuring the uniformity of measurements were revealed. On the facts of the revealed violations, the maintenance stations were issued instructions on the prohibition of the use of measuring instruments and recommendations for their elimination. Application in the field of legal metrology in the diagnosis of technical condition and repair of vehicles, measuring instruments, that have not passed state verification does not guarantee the reliability of the measurement results, which does not ensure traffic safety and protection of human life and health on a vehicle.
