The motto of World Metrology Day in 2021 year - "Measurements for Health". This topic has been selected, to draw public attention to the important role, which measurements play to protect human health, including in matters of prompt and effective overcoming of the consequences of the COVID-19 pandemic.

WITH 27 November 2020 g. a new version of the Law of the Republic of Belarus "On ensuring the uniformity of measurements" is in force, which will serve the further development of metrology, increasing its role in the development of the national economy and society as a whole.
