AT 2023 g. The Week of Parental Love is taking place in Belarus for the second time, which started 14 October on Mother's Day and ends 21 October on Father's Day, combining these two dates.
The importance of family and parents for Belarusians is confirmed by the fact, that the decrees of the head of state established four holidays, family related: Family Day (15 May), Children's Day (1 June), Mother's Day (14 October) and Father's Day (21 October). And if we consider the family not only as a mother, dad and children, but also more widely, taking into account older generations, then the Day of the Elderly is also a family holiday (1 October).
In the value system of Belarusians, the family occupies a leading position. The thesis “Strong family – strong state” is traditionally one of the strategic foundations, consolidating our society.
A multifaceted and comprehensive state system of family support has been formed and is being implemented in the country.. Ежегодно на эти цели направляется более 3% ВВП страны.
В рамках празднования Недели родительской любви утвержденреспубликанский план мероприятий, which is designed to unite Belarusian society on the ideas of love and honor for parents, contribute to increasing the authority of motherhood and fatherhood, family prestige and family values.
So, with 12 by 21 октября запланировано проведение пресс-мероприятий, посвященных теме материнства и детства, ответственного отцовства, укрепления института семьи. В эти же даты состоятся прямые телефонные линии по вопросам государственной поддержки семей с детьми, информационно-просветительские мероприятия.

В этом году также продолжится акция Минсвязи «Поздравим маму и папу почтой!». В отделениях Белпочты предоставляется возможность 11 and 18 октября бесплатно отправить поздравительную карточку мамам и папам.
Организации Госстандарта также присоединяются к тематическим мероприятиям, организованным в рамках Недели родительской любви.
