4 Martha 2026 of the year, a representative of the Grodno Regional Inspectorate of the State Standard - Senior Inspector for Legal Work of the Information, Analytical and Legal Work Service took part in a scientific and practical conference, organized on the basis of the educational institution "Grodno State University named after Yanka Kupala". The event brought together experts, scientists and practitioners to discuss current issues in the legal field.
The conference began with the grand opening, during which the rector of the university Irina Kiturko delivered a welcoming speech.
During the plenary session, held in person-remote format, Conference participants heard reports, dedicated to law enforcement issues. Of particular interest was the report of the Chairman of the Court of the Eurasian Economic Union Alexey Dronov, who presented the topic “The paradigm of law in the context of global transformation and the role of the EAEU Court in establishing the rule of law”. In his speech, the speaker highlighted modern challenges, facing the Union member states in the field of customs regulation and outlined the key role of the supranational judicial body - the EAEU court in ensuring uniform legal understanding and application of the Treaty on the Eurasian Economic Union.
Then the conference continued in the format of breakout sessions, organized on the basis of the University Law Faculty, where with the report, dedicated to the problems of implementation of supervisory activities, a representative of the inspection spoke. Those present had the opportunity to get acquainted with modern scientific approaches and current research in the field of legal regulation. During the discussions, the participants considered problematic aspects of the legislation, as well as prospects for improving government regulation mechanisms.
Participation in such events contributes to the continuous professional development of inspection staff, allowing them to keep abreast of the latest scientific trends and effectively implement the acquired knowledge in law enforcement practice.
